Trying to replace a broken Pinephone

I've been rural ghettoed out of the 21st century.

I had a pinephone, I was an early adopter, I weathered all the teething pains, kept it for four years as a daily driver ran many different OS's.

They sold it to me where I live now. They wouldn't ship to a PO# so I had to use a work address in town for the delivery and the PO# for the billing address.

Eventually I got a phone, no issues.

four years later, phone broke, tried to order another.

Wanted a pro but apparently sold out, so another "convergence" edition with little breakout dongle.

Order exact same as before, same mailing address, same billing address.

No phone, can't even complete order, throws out "can't send to post office box"

Try various things, no luck.

Send email to customer service, Make it very clear that mailing address is NOT po# and that they've sold me one already under identical (at least on my side) conditions.

Customer service doesn't even read it, get back politely condescending version of "We don't send to po#"

send back reply asking for supervisor, reiterate problem and include copy of first (successful), order.

Seems to work! credit card charged! OBOY!

few days later charge on card disappears, check with card company, they tell us "reversed by merchant"

Nothing from pine64.

Liked the phone, (note: liked)

No hardware can make up for a total clownshow of a company.

regret bragging about my cool pinephone in a rural area, Now understand why nobody else got one. Pine64 wouldn't let them.

Fairphone next?
